Extensive experience in Financial Management and Control, Institutional development and Capacity building, expertise in project management and hands on experience covering design and development of administrative, accounting and financial systems and related manuals. The experiences include the following:
• Strong Financial Management skills developed over thirty years in the public sector, the private sector and in international organisations including accrual accounting, cash flow management, contract management, financial accounting/reporting and analysis, internal control, investigation, procurement and treasury management;
• Public Financial Management strengths including Medium Term Expenditure Frameworks (MTEFs), budgeting, resource allocations, revenue/expenditure review, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), reporting and gap analysis;
• Financial Management and Reporting Systems (FMRS) in respect of design, development, implementation and improvement;
• Multi-donor coordination skills for European Union (EU), African Development Bank (ADB), USAID, World Bank, SIDA, KfW etc; and
• Extensive work experience in multicultural, multidiscipline environment in various positions including the provision of management control, performance management, quality assurance and creating a conducive work environment for project accounting and budgeting functions.

A graduate of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde-Scotland AND a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants having undergone a full time four year study at the Newcatle Polytechnic College-England in 1973-1977.
