I have extensive project preparation and infrastructure financing experience.
I have consistently exceeded all goals set for me, and am valued for my hard work, reliability, tenacity and ability to come up with solutions to problems.
A good illustration of this is the number of large-scale Water and sanitation programmes I have prepared and funded in South Africa. I have also published a number of articles with a focus on development finance. Most recently, I have contributed to the OECD report “Making blended financing work for water and sanitation”, which was launched in August 2019.
Working for both a large international infrastructure-consulting firm as well as an international development finance institution during my career, I have obtained advanced knowledge in:
•Infrastructure planning, design and project management
•Various types of public private partnership models
•Policy development with National Treasury and other government departments
•Green and blended financing solutions, and
•Deal structuring to ensure bankability of various projects in emerging markets.

Education: |
Key academic qualifications include a B.Eng (Civil) in the first class from the University of Pretoria, a M.Eng (Technology and Engineering Management), a PMP (Project Management Professional), as well as an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch specialising in project risk identification and quantification.
I have also recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Finance obtained from the University of Stellenbosch. My qualifications are complemented by strong analytical and problem solving skills, a unique ability to interact and liaise with clients and colleagues and a resourceful approach to the completion of multiple projects.
