Professional Experience:
The main goals of my 23-year old action-oriented career have been to improve income generation, create employment opportunities, and balance diets to improve the health of low and middle-income communities in various countries. Along with being the recipient of three “Young Scientist Awards,” from varying scientific societies of India, I was also a member of a team that received the “Outstanding Team Research Award” from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and "Outstanding Science Partnership Award" from Consultative Groups of International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). Through three tenures in three different contrasting nations: India, Niger, and Taiwan, my work responsibilities and roles hence my skills/enrichment/knowledge/attitude have progressively shifted from handling programs at national, regional, and global levels, respectively. These various comprehensive services as both a research scientist and a manager have equipped me with an array of interpersonal, facilitative, and leadership skills. I believe my past growth has established me into an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and open-minded member of any team who is continuously willing to adapt and grow further.
