- Led a team of over 120 skilled professionals and oversaw the delivery of life-saving services and a great contribution to Niger’s family planning and other sexual and reproductive health needs through clinical centers, mobile outreach teams and social marketing. Specifically oversaw the direct delivery of family planning services to over 400 000 beneficiaries. - Turned around the country program and increased productivity by 43% in one year. - Led a change management process and successfully built-up team morale, resulting in increased productivity in project execution, clinical/quality assurance, procurement, internal/external reporting and beneficiary accountability. - Oversaw reviews of processes and systems which resulted in major improvements such as strengthening transparency and significantly reducing opportunities for selection bias in procurement. - Oversaw successful national and community engaging media campaigns to promote family planning and sexual and reproductive health for 8 months in rural areas with extremely positive results in terms of acceptance and adoption of family planning in a culture traditionally and culturally adverse environment to family planning. - Provided strategic guidance on government relations and demonstrated capacity to operate under enormous public scrutiny and negative media campaigns toward sexual and reproductive health services and succeeded in reopening MSI Niger’s 2 clinics after seven months of negotiations with the ministry of health. - Contributed to advocacy efforts to overcome barriers that prevent women and men from accessing safe, affordable, reliable family planning and other sexual and reproductive health services. - Championed personnel development and designed programs to build up the technical capacity of promising staff members. In 1 year, the number of internal staff promoted to mid-management and management roles increased from 0 to 6.
