Professional Experience: |
Following a full military career in the British Army, I joined the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) for Global Change in March 2020 here in Freetown. I was promoted to Deputy Country Head (DCH) whilst retaining my original role as TBI’s Strategic Advisor to the Mayor of Freetown. I have supported her programme of transformation, whilst at the same time responding to a pandemic in which the City (of 1.2M people) is the epicentre. Prior military service saw me working with diplomatic, governmental and non- governmental organisations in Africa, the Middle East, North America and Europe. I have developed a wealth of experience in command, leadership and management, through operational military experience, and latterly programme and project management in complex environments.
