Professional Experience:
Dr Anand Lakshman is a Public Health Entrepreneur with over 19 years of experience working with government, international agencies and NGOs at district, state, national and international levels.
- He worked with the Asia office of the Micronutrient Initiative in New Delhi on child nutrition issues in South & South East Asian countries including Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, China and Indonesia. - In India he has worked in over 312 districts, across 12 states with a program which reached 114 million children under 5 years of age.
He co-authored the Best Practices Paper on Micronutrient Supplements for Child Survival for the Copenhagen Consensus Center in 2008.
- Earlier he worked with the WHO, as Medical Consultant to the State of West Bengal, where he helped set up the Revised National TB Control Program, in difficult Maoist affected districts.
- In 2010, he co-founded AddressHealth, India’s leading school health services provider, and is its CEO. AddressHealth works in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Delhi –NCR serving over 300 schools
