- USAID:
• Monitors USAID/Benin’s Strategic Objective teams’ budgets implementation to ensure actual outlays do not exceed planned expenditures;
• Drafts accounting/financial procedures to ensure consistency in the processing of transactions and compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles;
• Provides technical assistance and training to USAID staff , contractors and grantees on financial management;
• Tracks Mission’s disbursements to its grantees/contractors and determines grantees/contractors’ burn rates and projected expenditures;
• Detects and reports to Mission management all grantees/contractors’ failures to comply with the financial terms of the grants/contracts;
• Liaises, on a proactive basis, with USAID/Benin Mission’s strategic objective teams as well as other technical teams and the front office to ensure they are implementing the financial policies as mandated by the USAID Automated Directives Systems (ADS) and the applicable federal laws and regulations;
• Assists project managers in elaborating Government Cost Estimates;
• Develops budgets for USAID-funded activities;
• Assesses programs/activities proposals submitted by prospective grantees/contractors;
• Conducts pre-award assessments of prospective grantees' financial systems, to determine whether their accounting and internal control systems meet USG standards;
• Conducts financial reviews of USAID/Benin's grantees;
• Assesses the internal control systems of USAID/Benin Mission by performing the verification, on a sample basis, of all types of transactions including payment documents, and the related journal vouchers to ensure compliance with international accounting standards;
• Prepares the Annual Audit Management Plan and Audit Universe for the Mission as requested by the Regional Office of Inspector General based in Pretoria;
• Coordinates all audits performed by external auditors;
• Ensures the implementation and timely closure of audit recommendations;
• Compiles statistical data to substantiate various financial analysis requested by Washington.

- STATECO, CPA firm:
• Prepared the financial statements of Gras Savoye Benin, an insurance company.
• Participated in the installation of a Budget Implementation Tracking System for the Port Autonome de Cotonou.
- SAFECO, CPA firm: Participated in various accounting engagements:
• Société Béninoise de Manutention Portuaire (SOBEMAP), Cotonou;
• Port Autonome de Cotonou (PAC);
• Société Gras Savoye Bénin, etc;

- Controller Office of the Ministry of Finance: Tracked the National Budget implementation to ensure funds availability before the commitment of the Government of Benin.
