Area of Expertise:

Professional Experience:
As a dedicated staff member of the United Nations, I have gained my experience working in several sections of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (Registry, The Office of The Prosecutor, Human Resources, Chambers) for over 15 years in order to develop a wide range of skills and to broaden my knowledge of the work of the Tribunal. Furthermore, my work at the ICTY enlightened me on the traumatic events and the overwhelming challenges faced by the survivors of the conflict in the Balkans.
Throughout my career, I have built strong relationships with the teams that I have worked for always focusing on the delivery of excellent quality services through consistency, reliability and active collaboration in order to develop a high level of performance through self-motivation, a strong work ethic and dedication. In practising effective communication, contributing to problem solving and decision making, I grasped the importance and value of working closely with my teammates and sharing the same commitment towards achieving common goals for the benefit of the team and the organization.
I have always demonstrated a strong sense of duty using integrity and discretion in respect of the sensitive nature of my work. This was manifest whether in setting up meetings with external organizations or preparing missions for the President’s biannual report to the UN Security Council in New York, in assisting several English and French speaking Judges with their work related to Trial or Appeal cases and their general administration, in managing the archives in the Office of the Prosecutor, in processing a large number of exhibits and evidentiary material or handling transcripts and court records.
The broad experience that I gained, working for an international organization that fosters peace, security and stability across nations, gave me a solid foundation to further enhance my career. It has lead me to solely devote myself to seeking opportunities to progress and grow in the humanitarian field where I would be grateful to have the chance to demonstrate my skills. Together with my pragmatic, high-spirited and dedicated attitude, I am deeply committed to serving the needs and interests of vulnerable communities, to helping develop safe and stable environments where cultural identity, customs and traditions are preserved and valued as the human characteristics that bind us together in order to motivate us to move forward with integrity, compassion and humility.
