Results-focused international law and human rights legal expert with more than ten years’ experience delivering comprehensive legal research, analysis, drafting of instruments of several nature, and support to high level decision-makers within strategic negotiations in such international entities as the United Nations, European Union, the European Organisation for Cooperation and Development and the European Council, on behalf of the Portuguese and Macau Special Administrative Region’s (China) SAR governments. Experience at high level decision making in Portugal and, currently, in the Macau SAR’s Parliament . Head of delegations in numerous working groups and negotiations (namely in the areas of cooperation in criminal matters and fight against corruption); designated as replacement of immediate director on several occasions, namely during international representation and management of the office for short periods of time; experience as a international official with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Highly skilled in all aspects of human rights, public international and national law, as well as European Law; with strong competency in multicultural environments.
