Professional Experience:

Most recently held the role of Consultant, based in Sri Lanka, for Caritas Switzerland in collaboration with the World Bank and the US Departement of State. Key focus areas were project management, reporting/proposal writing, and strategic analysis.

Previously under contract for 4½ years at the Swiss Embassy in Sri Lanka. I held a range of positions being PA to Ambassador, Deputy Head Asylum Section and Visa Section, and Consular Officer. In doing so I helped coordinate Switzerland’s pursuit of its global, regional and bilateral interests. I also developed experience in large-scale multilateral meetings as Head Liaison Officer for the Croatian Delegation to the ‘OCED Ministerial Council Meeting’in 2014.

Previously worked for 3 years for various INGOs in Sri Lanka during the war time. Key focus was Project Management and Programme Development of Development & Humanitarian Aid projects. In previous administrative and management roles in airline, pharma and travel industries, I developed, presented and delivered tangible work outcomes for local and international stakeholders. Such relevant experience included overseas frontline aid work in conflict zones, in-flight service for passengers airlifted from environmental disaster and multilingual interpreter service for consumer medicine information and in the Travel Industry.
