I'm a Master’s Degree graduate in Business Administration (MBA) (Finance) from the University of Nairobi (Kenya). I also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting Option) from the same university. I’m as well a fully qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) and a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) Kenya Chapter. I’m also completing my PHD studies in finance in the University of Nairobi.To me credit risk management is a passion first. This is the reason I have consistently researched on the topic and written dozens of articles on the topic which are all published in both local and international publications. My MBA thesis paper was titled, “The Relationship between Profitability and Nonperforming Loans in the Kenyan Banking Sector”. My Doctoral thesis is on the effect of credit risk management, NPLs, Size on the Performance of commercial banks in Kenya”. Over years and through a lot of training and research I have developed thorough knowledge and experience in modern Credit Risk Management practices in Financial Services industry

• Honored as a key speaker on the fight against Money Laundering in financial institutions in an international conference titled “Internal Fraud Risks Detection & Prevention” on 18th June 2012 by the highly reputed South African based Firm, Marcus Evans.
• Severally invited as a Risk Management panellist on a CNBC AFRICA TV shows to discuss various risk related issues. The winner won Kshs. 5 million to finance the winning business idea.
