2018 - Today: Organization: CV Petani Bersama and Ministry of Agriculture in Indonesia Position: Lead Consultant for Public Private Partnership project West Java in Indonesia. The project concerns micro-credit for small holder farmers for greenhouses. Mainly concerning horticulture products in the area of West Java (Indonesia). It is a pilot project which is intended to be extended to other areas within the country. My main activities within the project; - Define final project scope - Make project feasibility study - Make Financial budget proposal - Manage and maintain relationships with all involved stakeholders - Manage, coordinate and supervise the start-up phase of the project.
2006 - 2018: PT Q-Spicing, Indonesia Position: Managing Director and founding partner. This company was particularly focused on the growing and processing of Indonesian spice products. In our supply chain we cooperated very much with farmer groups and cooperatives. In order to optimize the quality and supply guarantee of our products we developed various training and certification projects in cooperation with various NGO's and organizations like Cordaid, IDH, SwissContact, Rabobank, Rainforest Alliance, Dutch Government, etc. These projects concerned mainly training and certification in areas like Good Agricultural Practices, ISO certifications, yield optimization, Organic Certification, Sustainability Certification, Quality Management, etc. Company revenue: $10 million Number of employees: 120 FTE Number of cooperating farmers: 1.200 The company has been successfully divested in 2018 to PT Haldin Naturals.
