I am a mid-level multidisciplinary international development professional with 12 years’ experience in project management, research, and IT solution development for ICTs for development, poverty reduction and climate change projects in Asian and African countries.
My core areas of expertise cover strategic thinking and planning, project design, monitoring, management and implementation, partnership building, capacity building, IT solution development, large scale survey design and implementation, research design and implementation, knowledge management, and research communication.
My professional experience is diverse but includes both programmatic and management team leadership. I have overseen both very large and more modest scale projects and have a track record in creating and mentoring both quite small and large teams. I have proven ability to employ different research methodologies and to analyse, manage, and interpret data in a scientific manner. I have ability to quickly develop the necessary specific knowledge and competences. Using my participatory approach and experience I have an excellent skill to manage project and teams and also to design relevant new working strategies which are relevant to the local and national context and will create the necessary change. I have in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of local development, poverty reduction, and social protection. I have the skills to integrate international best practices in locally adapted development programs and policies. I am specialised in working with extremely poor and most excluded populations.
