Professional Experience: |
I have worked as a consultant since 2012 and delivered exceptionally on numerous projects in the areas of policy and strategy development and implementation, systems development, communication and public relations, knowledge management and capacity building among others. I have expertise in proposal development, project management, grant management, research and educational planning and management. I have also worked as a University lecturer for the last 7 years, teaching a range of subjects in the fields of management and business administration. As part of my work as Lecturer, I have also coordinated and supervised research students at bachelor, master and PhD levels.
I am now interested in an international opportunity preferably with projects that support research, capacity building, advocacy, rural development and sustainability

Education: |
I hold a PhD in Business Management (with a bias in Strategy and Technological Innovation) from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. As a PhD researcher, my approach to research was aligned to the engaged scholarship and Design Science philosophies because these advance both practice and theory thereby providing practical solutions required for socio-economic development. I particularly focussed on the agricultural sector in Uganda and developed technological solutions for poultry farm business process management in East Africa. I worked with Uganda’s Ministry of Agriculture to support implementation of parts of this research.
I also hold a Master of Business Administration from Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication (Public relations major) from Uganda Christian University (UCU). I have attained various certificates in Proposal development, Project management, ICT and Pedagogical development.
