Six-month contract to independently set up a Laos pilot of a Cambodian education programme; to organise a 12-day visit for Princess Beatrice of York and other VIPs; and to continue developing existing partnerships in health and education sectors. >>> Quickly built strong relationships across the Lao government through meetings introducing the pilot. Delivered a study trip for 3 Lao Director Generals to Phnom Penh to visit schools and meet with Cambodian Ministers to discuss the scheme’s success. >>> Completed literature reviews and research meetings to redesign the programme to meet the Lao context. Led technical assessment of potential schools, wrote detailed proposals and budgets, recruited and trained local team managers. >>> Led organisation of the Royal visit, coordinated closely with senior officials in Education, Health, UXO and Foreign Affairs, UK Embassy, hospitals and other NGOs to deliver meetings, launchings and cultural visits. Negotiated hotels, cars and coordinated security and police motorcades. _
