Relevant Experience October, 2011 – Present, GIZ, New Delhi, Project Officer Coordination role in Renewable Supply for Rural Areas (RESRA), a 3-million Euro rural electrification project focusing on 26 villages across rural/tribal regions in Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. Responsibilities across management, reporting on operational/implementation plan, developing business models in distributed power generation, facilitating coordination between head office and local project office and networking with social/development organizations and private entrepreneurs. • Responsible for the Operational/Implementation and Monitoring Plan of the RESRA project • Developing business models for distributed power generation in rural areas • Conceptualizing and conducting workshops on capacity building of women as the Gender expert for RESRA • Preparing and managing contracts/service requests for procurement and services
June – July, 2010 UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), New Delhi, Intern • Prepared country briefs for India, Sri Lanka and Nepal on the HIV situation. • Drafted Program Acceleration Fund (PAF) proposal for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. • Edited a documentary ‘Ray of Hope’ on drug de-addiction and HIV.
