As a social researcher, I have experience with data collection practices and methods, data management and analysis, as both field operator and coordinator. Furthermore, good report / review writing alongside excellent proof-reading/editor skills.
Education:
The majority of my adult life focused on education and academic achievement. For this purpose, the past decade was spent travelling and living abroad as a EU higher education student. After graduating in Sociology at University of Bucharest (Romania), I pursued a MSc degree in Human Geography and Urban Planning at Utrecht University (the Netherlands). Following, a PhD studentship in Sociology at De Montfort University (the UK)).

Currently, at the last stage of the PhD process - namely, dealing with the post-Viva corrections (pending completion June 2019). The PhD thesis looks at the career trajectory specificities (how success is achieved) of Eastern European (Romanians) international migrants in the UK. The methodology is life course qualitative, utilising life history in-depth interview data collected via the life-grid interview sheet analysed by quasi-statistic and thematic narrative methods.
