Professional Experience:
Qualified Chartered Accountant PwC London for 7 years worked in Audit in a wide variety of sectors and settings. As Training tutor was responsible for monitoring the 3 year training program for new graduates and recruitment. Wrote and presented training courses on a nationwide basis for new graduates as well as qualified especially in Information Systems Risk Management (ISRM). Worked as an ISRM consultant for PwC before taking a career break. Lived in France for 6 years and worked at KPMG in audit, Livingston Telecoms financial administration and Amadeus as systems consultant IS 9001 team leader and training. Lived in the USA participated in finance lectures (pensions) at IUPUI Business School (no work permit) and since 2003 in Switzerland, I became a citizen in 2018, I volunteered as Treasurer for the Parents Association for the Zurich International School and also worked as school teacher for 6 years in various roles and age groups.
I also assumed responsibility of Trustee for the family estate on behalf of my parents and manage a portfolio of properties in the UK, France and Switzerland.
In 2015 I took a finance qualification Diploma in Charity Accounting (DipChA) and started an MSc in Philanthropy and Grant Management 2017 at CASS Business School to pursue a career in finance and project management in the development and NGO sector focusing on education and empowerment for women and girls.
I worked for GreenLamp Zurich as Treasurer establishing internal control systems and an accounting software "Banana" and Project Manager since 2015 running solar suitcase projects (installation and maintenance) for 220 rural Health Centers. Wrote strategy and MOU's for partnerships with Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia and Regional & Zonal Health Bureaus to initiate solar suitcase installations in rural Health Centers, a complete battery replacement program and a sustainable Supervision and Maintenance Program.from 2016 I also was responsible for the ordering and export of training equipment for the Hamlin College and maintenance parts for solar suitcases. In 2018 initiated and implemented a Midwifes Alumni Network for Hamlin College of Midwives for personal development and support. Organised and ran a Hamlin Midwives Alumni SUMMIT in Addis Ababa July 2018 for over 120 participants including 80 midwives from all over Ethiopia, with workshops using foetal dopplers, blood pressure equipment and refresher training on solar suitcase use and maintenance. Also partnered with Addis Ababa University PHD students to present findings on cervical cancer trials and projects. Facilitated discussion sessions for midwives to share professional best practice and issues.

I love travelling and meeting people from different cultures and lands, I spend 4 years backpacking and working after graduating University as I wanted a better understanding of the world and the way it worked in reality.
I am keen on sport especially rowing, swimming, skiing and cycling, I like to include the family in activities together. My passion is sailing, small and large boats with my RYA Yachtmaster qualification I have chartered yachts for family holidays in the Caribbean, Thailand, Mediterranean and UK and completed the ROAC Round the Islands Race in the Caribbean which was 10 days 24 hours sailing. I have also done a few deliveries for Girls for Sail a sailing training company. I have a couple of racing dinghy's which I sail on lake Geneva (ex Zurich).
