A former member of the American Institute of CPA’s Board of Examiners, my ~13 year Finance career spans over various settings: multinational, SME, social enterprise, industries: Insurance, FMCG, Healthcare, Telecom in both emerging & developed markets. I have worked with and/or advised global brands such as Aon, PepsiCo, Vodafone, and Ernst & Young. Career highlights include:

As co-founder and principal consultant of Alitheia Ghana Limited (an all-female led SME advisory firm), I have experience helping businesses prepare for the future (strategic planning & financial mgmt.), optimize use of resources (performance mgmt.) and get the basics right (accounting and controls).
While much of my experience has been in the private sector, I sought this role as part of my journey in transitioning to the social sector. My social sector experiences include: Board member for Environment360, a Africa based female found NGO that helps communities harvest the full value of their plastic waste through sustainable recycling schemes and educational campaigns ; Collaboration with UNICEF Ghana to connect young female tech innovators with UNICEF mentors to help shape their prototypes for market entry. Also helped identify UX/UI designers to lead UNICEF organized human centered design session for adolescent girls ; Ally/supporter of the African Gifted Foundation, a Ghana based, US registered NGO focused on educating young gifted female scientists from across Africa. As Africa On Ground PM for Figma’s (Silicon Valley tech startup) Global Design Community, gained hands on knowledge of social impact project mgmt. areas such as cross border program implementation, budgeting and collaboration with on ground execution partners.
