Professional Experience: |
I started in aid work as a volunteer, even before graduating at university.
As a professional, I worked in NGOs in Portugal, Angola and Guinea Bissau for 8 years, in project design, project management, M&E, NGO administration, training, capacity building and stakeholders engagement.
Then I decided to put my skills at the service of supporting the public sector in Angola and I continued my capacity building work in advisory to the Provincial Department of Energy, Water, Geology and Mines in Cabinda.
Dealing with the handicaps of the companies who partnered with the government or operated in these sectors, in terms of sustainability, made me embrace the challenge of creating the first consultancy company specialized in Corporate Social Responsibility in Angola.
In a time of economic crisis in the country, our last client eventually hired me to make the impact assessment of 15 projects in Angola, in the sectors of WASH, energy, affordable housing, telecom, agriculture, education & professional training, health and vertical transportation.
