Professional Experience:

I have up to 25 years' experience in the field of development, including fifteen years in non-governmental organizations. I have had a progressive career that has allowed me to gradually progress both in the public sector and in INGOs. In these successive responsibilities I have acquired proven experience in program management, projects management and field operations management. All this has moved along with, proposals design, reporting to donors and partnerships building.
During my career I’ve been member of several national committees to support the governments of Burkina Faso, Niger and Cote d'Ivoire efforts in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights and the contraceptive supply chain improvement. I have led the design, the development and implementation of diversified service delivery channels to increase the access of women and girls to information and high-quality sexual and reproductive services. Currently member of the Burkina Faso country Coordinating mechanism of global funds to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and Malaria as representative for humanitarian partners, I have a good experience in building external relationships with various government ministries and partners such as UNFPA, WHO, WAHO, USAID. I’ve built and still maintaining great relationships within key senior managers in the ministries and within the multilateral and bilateral organizations (EU, UNFPA, UNICEF, USAID).
I have implemented successful fund-raising strategies with both bilateral and multilateral donors, as well as the private sector. For the private sector we have been able to involve economic operators in financing family planning methods for rural women in their home communities. I was also able to involve the private sector, in particular pharmacies, in the provision of family planning services, in particular short-term methods and counselling. As for private clinics, we were able to involve them through social franchises in offering family planning services, even though these methods don't make them any money. I also helped to train clinic operators to create demand for their services, and to provide them with the tools they needed to make a difference such as branding, promotional events etc.
I have managed budgets that has grown from €1.5 million in 2014 to €6.5 million in 2018 and currently €21 million with a full-time workforce that has grown from 87 in 2016 to 212 in 2018. To support this development, I’ve enhanced my leadership skills through the ‘’Nine conversation in leadership’’ intervention and became an accredited leadership trainer. To this end I’ve co-facilitated a leadership training in Nigeria which led to a huge change in the behaviors of the supported company country team members.
