Successfully managed the Finance and administration Department of WASCAL for over 15 year. Key deliverables included: ensuring management work within budget, adherence to procurement and administrative policies, human resources management and reports to the Governing Board of WASCAL.
Coordinates preparations for external and internal audits; review status of findings, recommendations and provide responses to audit observations and management letters. Lead the implementation of recommended actions.
Supervised the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial reporting for WASCAL, stakeholders and internal executives.
Achieved financial continuity and timely receipt of funds through effective collaboration and fulfilment of donors’ requirements.
Strategically implemented financial planning against established benchmarks to minimize under and overspending of the budget and ensured alignment with the overall budget.
