Professional Experience:
Colonel Navneet MP Mittal is a retired Indian Army officer with more than 35 years of combat, corporate and NGO experience. Major qualifications include degree of Bachelor of Technology and Masters of Management Science. While serving in the Indian Army, he has been awarded for distinguished service on four occasions, and has held senior level positions in operations, HR, logistics, training as well as major construction activities. International experience includes Chief Humanitarian Officer with United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon and Director Operations of Horizon Group, an ISO 9001-2015, UN accredited organization, functioning globally in areas of post conflict environment management, wherein he has planned and supervised 12 humanitarian demining/UXO projects in Sri Lanka, Kuwait and attended UN conferences. He has also briefly rendered project consultancy to The Energy and Research Institute (TERI), India at their UN funded International Project on Soil Remediation in Kuwait. He is presently the Director of Horizon Assignments (India) Pvt Ltd. He has successfully help conceive and operate number of NGOs and business enterprises including a green energy initiative.
An adventure sports enthusiast, he has participated at national and International level. He also has number of professional papers to his credit. He has travelled extensively to include USA, Germany, Switzerland, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Sudan, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, UAE, Russian Federation, Sri Lanka, Israel and Taiwan.
