During the past 18 years of her career, she has gained a lot of experience in Finance and Grants management leading to successful and sustainable results. She has worked in several countries with diverse culture and expectations across Africa (Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Mozambique and Uganda); especially supporting in building capacity of Finance managers across those countries in key areas like the budgeting process, pro-active budget monitoring and delivery of results against set budgets, reporting, ensuring solid internal control environments, coordinating audits and others. She is also an excellent trainer, mentor and coach to both Finance and non-Finance teams; and haS supported several young professionals to achieve their full potential. She is an ardent advocate in ensuring strong “Programme-Finance” working relationships and synergies; that go a long way in ensuring smoother delivery of results. She is a resourceful professional, very keen on bringing all her aptitudes to any new role that she embraces. She is willing to relocate to other stations.

Josephine holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and she is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has also undertaken training in various financial management specifics; including Leading Successful Social Programs at the Harvard Kennedy School and she is qualified and equipped with the required knowledge to perform at a high standard.
