A high-level professional with more than 17 years of work experience in Multi-donor complex PEPFAR/USAID/CDC, Global Fund, DfID; Donor relations; Sponsorship & National Government funded Programs in diverse technical areas; Program Oversight & Implementation; Standards development and Technical Assistance; Strategic leadership; Fundraising; Budget management; Sub-granting & consortium management expert; Capacity building; Systematic Case Management & case plan achievement; contract Management & compliance, Finance management, Resource mobilisation, allocation and Management, performance management and work planning; child care programming, senior managerial roles, technical and designing & executing organisational capacity building interventions. Supported institutionalization and rollout of 32 Sub grantee organizations enabling high-quality technical programming for households with OVC, through hands-on guidance and support to technical teams – ensuring that program implementation is evidence based and in line with state-of-the-art globally recognized best practices

Program Quality Manager I took active lead in a five year Global Fund project managing a 36 Million dollar project supporting 54 Local implementing partners. I supported the Health sector Senior Manager by spearheading systems strengthening and provided technical oversight to 54 partner organizations/ Sub Recipient organizations implementing different service delivery areas such as HTC, ART, Evidence based Prevention and In school and out of school prevention & livelihood interventions. The organizations were drawn from 6 provinces of Kenya. They included local and international non-profit making organizations such as Merlin, Hope Worldwide, Marie stope and Neighbors in Action among others. Provided day to day technical &administrative support including direct leadership and supervision of a team of 10 program officers specialized in different HIV programming spheres.

As a Program officer at CARE International in charge of capacity building for 54 Sub recipient implementing HTC activities, Youth prevention program was able to counsel and test over 1,000,000 men, women including MARPS. Reporting to the Global fund Manager was able to provide oversight to 54 local partners organisationally and technically guide HIV programming revolving around HTC and OVC.
