I have 18 years of professional experience, and have been working in developing countries since 2004. I specialize in governance (especially subnational governance and good governance), capacity development and livelihoods (especially value chain projects). I have served as a senior advisor in government agencies and also on direct delivery of grant programmes. My country experience includes Syria, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, South Sudan, Thailand and the UK.
I have worked in senior roles on projects funded by DFID, the UK Foreign Office, USAID and the World Bank. I typically serve as Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader or Director.
I was formerly a consultant with McKinsey and Company and a lecturer at Oxford University.
