Career trajectory spans over 2 decades in private sector fundraising, notably working for international humanitarian and environmental NGOs. With all organisations I served, I successfully developed and implemented fundraising plans that generated income, as well as identified and cultivated a subset of donors with strong giving capacity and affinity for the cause.
I continue to meet targets by developing and executing clear strategies, undertaking high quality research, writing income-generating proposals and building effective relationships with corporations, foundations and high net worth individuals. Such competencies show that I can influence others whilst achieving objectives, identify and pursue fundraising opportunities and put annual plans into action to secure and grow donations year over year.
I excel in a team atmosphere with private sector partners, colleagues and stakeholders from different backgrounds and can work independently. Cultural sensitivity is important to me when I am meeting with donors, negotiating partnerships, or on mission to the field, as it has allowed me to build significant relationships throughout my longstanding career.
