Professional Experience:
• More than 10 years of management experience in different roles, such as head of department and project manager
• In depth experience with migration management and assistance, and other cross cutting issues: fighting organized crime (i.e. human trafficking and smuggling), human rights, refugee protection, IDP’s, international humanitarian law, return, legal aid, justice reform, fighting domestic violence, rights of women and children and minority rights, different aspects of border management, visa affairs, readmission, administrative reforms, institutional analysis and capacity building for governmental and non-governmental entities
• Sound knowledge of EU Acquis – Project Cycle Management, Council of Europe, OSCE and UN Human Rights Instruments
• Vast experience with the design of programmes, their implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Experienced facilitator and trainer in diverse cross cultural and international settings
• Organised workshops and large scale human trafficking public awareness raising campaigns, such as media campaigns and a rock concert (“Rock to Break the Silence”) in Pristina, Kosovo
• Participated in the evaluation of 2003 National CARDS Programme “Pre-screening of Asylum-Seekers and Migrants: Strengthening the capacity of Albania to develop and implement migration policies and best practice according to international standards”
• Familiar with EC funded projects through close cooperation with EC-projects in Albania (especially CARDS, PRAG, PCM, Logframe, ToR development)
• Strong strategic, organisational, leadership, interpersonal and social skills and innovative and creative thinking,
• An excellent networker and team player who can work under time pressure, with efficiency and competency and can work independently
• Sound experience with research, analysis and drafting of thematic reports and policy papers
• Excellent communication and analytical skills both written and oral and I enjoys working with people of different cultural and professional backgrounds
