At Korle Bu teaching Hospital (2000 bed National Referral Facility) 2014-2017
• Enabled the hospital to secure the third position, from 19th, as best performing agency out of 22 sector agencies.
• Designed and led a whole system transformation programme at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital that enhanced leadership’s focus and commitment towards the provision of high quality patient centred services.
• Aligned the organisation’s structure and values with evidence based practices of health care industry.
• Produced a transformation programme map which received acknowledgement as a reference resource pack for future projects across the hospital.
At Christian Health Association of Ghana (Umbrella NGO of 189 church health facilities, hospitals, clinics training schools. 2nd largest provider of health care in Ghana) 2010-2014
• Strengthened the health systems for CHAG to become the best health system in Ghana and a model for best practices.
• Raised the profile and influence of the CHAG, through the establishment of strategic partnerships with government, local, and international bodies, to become a major partner in the health sector policy dialogue.
• Improved health system performance output at facility level by producing various performance models and tools.
• Secured DKK20M from DANIDA, £2.5M from DFID, US$ 300K from Rockefeller Foundation and various other amounts from different health development partners to introduce and establish innovative and integrated health care delivery models for improved primary care and mental health services.
