Professional Experience:

After 6 years in commercial roles in UK and Ireland, I have lived and worked for the last 9 years in Malawi, Tanzania and Ethiopia. This has primarily been as a freelance consultant in the areas of digital financial services, microfinance and business advisory, though also includes one year in Tanzania where I was the innovation manager microfinance for a mobile operator and 18 months in Ethiopia as the commercial and operations advisor to a payment service provider. For three years in Tanzania i also founded my own DFS consultancy and amongst others won contracts with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Diageo.
