His employment history includes positions which focused on providing hands on technical assistance and guidance in implementing concepts, principles and practices within Water and Sanitation engineering field.
Most recent position: Coordinator of the WASH Cluster in Southern and Western Haiti for UNICEF. He coordinated WASH projects for cholera response and earthquake recovery, provided technical guidance to humanitarian and governmental stakeholders, advised authorities and NGOs partners on how to improve the impact of Water and Sanitation projects and supported communication and cooperation between various levels of stakeholders.
Previously, as Head of the Water and Habitat Department at the International Committee of the Red Cross in Darfur and Chad, he managed water and sanitation programs providing assistance to victims of conflict. His responsibilities included setting objectives, defining scope, planning activities and allocating resources, managing staff and supervising projects' execution, monitored project performance and assured quality of deliverables.
Earlier in his career, he managed projects in Water Management, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation in Ecuador, Guyana and the United Kingdom. As part of his work he coordinated projects resources, carried out procurement, controlled scope, schedules and costs, managed communication and assured adherence to organizational standards.
