Professional Experience: |
I have worked as a clinical trial manager and monitor, drug safety monitor, pharmacovigilance trainer, data management trainer, biostatistician and web applications developer since 2007. Organizations I have worked with include a medical school, a WHO collaborating centre and an IT startup.
I am very familiar with SPSS, Stata and R, among other programs. With my experience managing and analyzing clinical trials data, I will fit very well into a data scientist or research manager position.
I have a firm grasp of information technology. In my spare time, I develop web-based applications (on a freelance basis) in a team of two developers and two support personnel.
My work has involved training professionals from several African countries. More importantly, many of these training activities took place in-country as part of consulting jobs that involved monitoring and evaluating drug safety monitoring systems these countries such as Ghana, The Gambia, Eritrea, Namibia, Guinea and Liberia.
