Professional Experience:
Currently based in RBJ (Food Systems and Market Development unit), I am the regional Value Chain Analyst facilitating Local Procurement under the LRFPP. Other past positions successfully held similar to the profile described in above captioned position include, being the Partnership Engagement Expert for the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) Programme of the African Development Bank (AfDB) – linking the technologies for the development of nine value chains to funded projects in 27 African countries through strategic engagement with national governments and non-state actors; Development and Liaison Officer for Leventis Foundation Nigeria – mainstreaming value chain concept into the training curriculum, improving the capacity of staff of Leventis Foundation agricultural training schools in value chain approach to agribusiness development; Value Chain Expert (UNIDO) - facilitating the value chain support program for Tanzania through value chain analysis for inclusive value chain development; Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA) Officer (FAO/RAF) provided policy guidance as well as operational and technical support to FAO member countries on conservation and the use of local/indigenous crops. I also had the opportunity as consultant (South-South Cooperation/South-South and Triangular Cooperation – SSC/SSTC) with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO/RAF) assessing the impact of COVID-19 on exchanging solutions within the global South and screening local technologies and innovations for mainstreaming into SSTC.
