I have extensive experience in managing different programs in a number of sectors such as health, employment, capacity building, economic support and others. Over the years I have been responsible for a wide range of activities such as overseeing program implementation, developing budgets, monitoring and evaluation of programs, developing training plans and proposal writing. I also have extensive field level experience and have worked in over 12 governorates all over Egypt.

I believe that my educational background that combines both a medical degree and a management degree gives me a unique background and puts me in a position to fulfill the requirements of the position. I received my MD degree before the age of twenty one, which made me youngest graduating physician in Egypt. I passed both steps for the United States Medical Licensing Examination, and obtained my Masters of Business Administration degree from the American University in Cairo. The management courses I studied broadened my horizons and complemented my technical background with managerial strengths
