Professional Experience: |
Lucia currently leads the Human Resources department at the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance (AKAM). Her responsibilities include supporting AKAM-affiliated microfinance institutions to develop their HR capability. She also serves as an advisor to the Human Resources Committees of these entities’ Boards of Directors. Previously, Lucia worked as a Health Economist in the Lausanne University Hospital and spent 9 years in the humanitarian sector, at the International Committee of the Red Cross in various roles, in the field – in DRC, Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan, and South Sudan – and in Headquarters.
