Professional Experience:

Evaluation Consultant and Researcher. PhD in Political Sciences and Sociology, Magister in Evaluation of Programs and Public Policies, Magister in European Communities. For more than one decade she developed her professional career at the Spanish Economic and Social Council (ESC), -a consultative body of the government for economic and social policies-, as Cabinet Director and International Relations Director. In 2004 she moved to the International Labor Organization as a P5 Technical Coordinator where she directed, during three years, the regional project “Strengthening institutional mechanisms for social dialogue” from the Latin American regional ILO Office in Lima (Peru). She has been fellow of the German Marshall Fund in the United States, and was invited by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation as visiting professor.

• Researcher and Expert in Cooperation for Development, (Instituto Universitario de Cooperación para el Desarrollo, IUDC, Complutense University Madrid), Social Inclusion and Institutional Strengthening Expert, Professor at the Magister in Cooperation for Development. Sound knowledge of the Cooperation for Development International System as well as the M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) industry.

• Wide Experience in Employment and Social Cohesion Issues, with a Gender Equity perspective, and indigenous people approach. From 1992 to 2004, she developed her professional career at the Economic and Social Council of Spain, a consultative body of the Government in Economic and Social issues, where civil society is represented.
She has been recently working as a consultant for the European Commission.
The following are the most recent evaluations:

URBAL III Mid-term Evaluation. This program promotes social and territorial cohesion in 18th Latin American countries with a budget of nearly 50 million euros. The program promotes decentralized cooperation among subnational governments in LA. The field work took place in the following countries: Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Perú, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

Final Evaluation of the EUROsociAL I Program.
EUROsociAL program promotes social cohesion in 18th Latin American countries with a budget of nearly 40 million euros. The program has focused on five main pillars for social cohesion: Health, Education, Taxation, Justice and Employment.

Evaluation of the AVATAR project, Added Value of teaching in a virtual world
AVATAR is a project funded by the European Commission in the framework of COMENIUS, Life Long Learning Program, Education and Culture DG. The project develops its activities in Austria, Italy, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Denmark and Spain.

Doctoral Thesis in Labour Relations: "El asociacionismo empresarial en España. La conformación del sujeto empresarial de las relaciones laborales", it received an award by the Instituto de Estudios Económicos de Madrid.
