Professional Experience: |
As an agricultural specialist with more than 12 years of project management in leading international organization in Southeast Asia including Hivos, Winrock International, GIZ, the ASEAN Secretariat and the ASEAN Foundation, I can bring valuable leadership skills and expertise to project management team in international organisations.
For the past five years, I have worked on institutional capacity building. More specifically, I designed and coordinated the farmers development and learning exchange for multi-stakeholders engagements in ASEAN for specific commodities like coffee and coconut.
One of recent successes, was playing a leading role to support the development of ASEAN Roadmap to strengthen the role of Agricultural Cooperatives in the global value chain. The guideline was endorsed by the respective ASEAN Sectoral Working Group on Agricultural Cooperatives and the 40th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry.
With respect to policy advocacy, I have successfully initiated and designed learning exchanges that allow policy-makers, farmer representatives, and private sectors to share their views on current agricultural policies and standards and to agree for mutual collaboration. I actively lobbied key stakeholders with divergent interest, to harvest commitment and continuous collaboration in strengthening the participation of agricultural cooperatives in the value chain.
