Professional Experience:
Director for Policy, Technical Assistance (TA) and International Cooperation, within Global Public Services Industry, Mr. MORA delivers projects for a wide client portfolio comprising European and International Financial Institutions, (IFI) including MDBs.
Based in Luxembourg, he advises Clients and global leaders on EU H2030 agenda and international development goals.
Former official, with circa 22 years of experience, Mr. Mora held several senior managerial positions in EU Affairs, where he delivered major projects for EU and International Organisations including EC and EIB, ACP, AFD, DEZA, DFID, EBRD, GiZ, KfW, OSCE, UN, USAID, WB (etc.), private stakeholders and National Governments – notably but not limited to on Financial Instruments, Climate and Social impact, Infrastructure, Sustainable Social Development, Digital Transformation, Strategy, Institutional Communication.
Mr. Mora has a detailed understanding of the EU related mechanisms, as well as Global Development mandates. He counts with a broad knowledge on Project Cycle Management (PCM), Results Oriented Monitoring (ROM) and has worked in the Balkans, Maghreb, Horn of Africa, etc. His career path gives him both Public-Private insider and outsider views, strong diplomatically and technicality, critical sight on business and project delivery.
Mr. Mora holds an MA in Economical Journalism from the Madrid Financial Studies Centre and a BA of Applied Economics from the Brussels ICHEC Business school. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish – and as a convinced European, has a very fair understanding of several other European languages.
