Professional Experience:

I have been an evaluative research and project management/coordination professional from April 1996, serving both as a fulltime NGO staff and as a consultant. As a fulltime NGO staff, I am currently the MEAL Project Manager for Medair's Lebanon Country Program - a huge portfolio of more than USD10 million a year with programs in the Health, WASH, Shelter, Protection, Basic Assistance and Weatherproofing Sectors. I line manage 7 MEAL staff. This follows two and half years as the MEAL Manager for Medair's Syria Program - a smaller but extremely busy portfolio because of the country's political instability and high proneness to disaster-induced emergencies during my time there. Between 2020 and June 2022 I was the Program Manager for an NGO that specialises in supporting persons with disabilities.

I therefore have sharp skills of gender analysis, disability inclusion programming, design of organizational learning processing and their documentation, proposal writing, project management and security management in humanitarian settings.

As a consultant, I have completed 142 consultancy assignments, mostly project evaluations and baseline studies, in 15 countries. Several clients have hired me for organizational development assignments, notably facilitating strategic planning processes, developing MEAL frameworks or systems and building staff capacity according, designing projects and developing crucial framework documents such as logframes, results frameworks, theories of change, etc. This work has invited short term secondments to support organizations set up the systems that I have helped develop.

I am familiar with managing, monitoring and/or evaluating humanitarian, recovery and development programs supported by such prominent donors as USAID, BHA, INL, DFID, CIDA, SIDA, The World Bank, EU, ECHO, SDC, Country Humanitarian Funds, the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria.
