Programme Manager at the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA.

Ogallah has over 15 years of experience in development and social work ranging from human rights, peace and conflict to environment, climate change and sustainable development issues.

Prior to joining PACJA, Ogallah worked in different positions in several organizations and institutions including Women Trafficking and Child Labour Eradication Foundation (WOTCLEF), Centre for Peace Advancement in Nigeria (CEPAN), West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and Nigerian Environmental Study/Action Team (NEST)/Building Nigeria’s Response to Climate Change (BNRCC).

Ogallah has consulted for many NGOs on peace and conflict, climate change, environment and sustainable development issues. He co-authored a section on Cross–Sectoral Issues of the Climate Change Adaptation Strategy Technical Report (CCASTR) for Building Nigeria’s Response to Climate Change, a technical document that substantially informed the National Adaptation Strategy and Plan of Action on Climate Change in Nigeria (NASPA-CCN) and Nigeria's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) in the light of Paris Climate Change Agreement.. Ogallah also co-authored “Conflict, Climate Change and Small-Scale Farming: A Training Manual by WANEP, Nigeria”.

Ogallah is the author of several publications including: (i) Peer education plus: A practical tools for communicating and teaching climate change in schools. (ii) Communicating Climate Change at the Grassroots in Nigeria: The Role of Civil Society Organizations. He is one of the contributors to the UNEP and UNECA publication “A Green Economy in the Context of Sustainable Development and Poverty Eradication: What are the implications for Africa?” He has also published articles locally and internationally.

Ogallah holds a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Biochemistry, Advanced Diploma in Public Administration (Upper credit) from the Federal University of Technology, Yola and a Master’s degree in Development Studies (Distinction) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa
