Professional Experience: |
I have over ten years professional experience as a lawyer and consultant. In my capacity as a consultant with the Government of India, I have been associated with infrastructure sectors like coal, postal services, and electricity. I have also advised the Ministry of Finance, Kingdom of Bhutan on constitutional aspects of budgetary appropriation. As a consultant, I have worked with economists, bureaucrats and industry executives. I have prepared reports, fund raising documents, advocacy briefs, position papers and have analysed and drafted legislations. As a registered legal practitioner, I practiced on the original (Constitutional) and Appellate sides of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and the Supreme Court of India at New Delhi.

I graduated from one of India’s premier law schools and subsequently secured a Masters in Law in Development, from University of Warwick, United Kingdom on the Law in Development India Scholarship (2005). I am presently pursuing my PhD in Law on the Chancellor’s International Scholarship at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. I am due to Submit in August 2017. My thesis examines implementation of legislative interventions accompanying sectoral liberalisation initiatives.
