Professional Experience: |
As a development professional, I work with the youth and communities contributing to poverty alleviation and improving lives by promoting employability, skills training and income generation activities (IGAs) in South Sudan and India. I possess comprehensive experience in leading, managing and consulting on livelihood projects with INGOs, government agencies and private firms as part of fulfilling their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). I have been involved in large scale programs in South Sudan and India working with Youth, Government, Donors and other Stakeholders.
Currently I am supporting projects under the sustainable livelihood program in Plan International, South Sudan as a Technical Advisor. South Sudan is a fragile and conflict affected country with a large population of youth missing out on livelihood opportunities due to years of civil war and the current crisis.
In past, I worked in India as Regional Manager for CAP Foundation for 3 years. I was responsible for managing livelihood projects with a team size of 80-100 staff, meeting donor requirements, building and maintaining local partnerships, actively engaging firms and establishing private sector relationships to secure job placements for youth under the livelihoods projects.
