Professional Experience:

In the past 14 years as a development professional, I have had the opportunity to conceive, design, implement, analyze, and disseminate findings from large-scale evaluation research and surveys in agriculture, food security, climate change, and maternal and child nutrition in Nepal using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Throughout my professional experience, I have had the opportunity to connect, coordinate, and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, from field enumerators, high-level representatives from Nepal and international organizations, to agri-food business owners. This is most strongly evident in my roles as an Evaluation Specialist at FAO, Regional Nutrition Consultant at UNICEF ROSA, Food System Consultant at IFPRI, and Agri-food Business Assessment Consultant at Food Enterprise Solutions. During these roles, I coordinated with multiple agencies within the UN, high-level representatives at the Gandaki Province, and agri-food business owners, respectively.

Education:

I completed my Bachelor's in Science from Salem College as a Biology major in 2009. My Master's degree is in Global Health from Brown University in 2012 with a focus on maternal and child nutrition. All of these experiences led me to earn a Doctorate in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy in 2017.
