Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Geneva, Switzerland (2004-2016)

Program Officer, Grant Management Division (2012 - 2016)
• Coordinated grant negotiations and implementation of 7 multi-million-dollar HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis grants in Niger and Senegal (multiple missions per year);
• Reviewed and analyzed grant performance (KPIs), financial (budgets, contracts), and contextual information (assessments); prepared briefings and mission reports;
• Built and managed relationships with in-country stakeholders including senior staff in ministries of health, donors, UN partners to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources in order to support people living with HIV/AIDS, pregnant women and children under 5, vulnerable groups by applying the gender approach;

• Collaborated with colleagues across the Global Fund Secretariat, LFA headquarters and external entities to create solutions and resolve issues at the country and headquarter level in accordance with the LFA mandate;
• Maintained the LFA Portal, ensuring effective LFA budgeting and cost management processes and providing on-going technical support to the LFAs and internal stakeholders;
• Worked on the issuance, monitoring, revision, and closure of the LFA purchase orders.

• Organized and conducted technical training for staff members;
