Professional Experience:
My experience in international development over the past nine years has provided me with a diverse background in program management, program development, and community development across various sectors including family planning and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and STI prevention, health systems strengthening, nutrition and community engagement. I have lived in Liberia, Ghana, Tanzania and the Dominican Republic, developing the ability to adapt to complex environments and to learn quickly how to work with teams composed of national and international staff with different technical skills as well as with partners, faith-based networks, government and civil society organizations.

I bring a strong understanding of working at the community, field office and headquarters levels. I recently led CRS/Liberia’s health portfolio as the Health Program Manager based in Monrovia and was responsible for quality project management with different local health partners as well as new strategic program growth. I worked for over three years at Global Communities’ headquarters, supporting and leading over 50 proposals by maintaining organized and daily coordination with multiple teams composed of field and headquarters staff, local and international partners, and consultants to ensure the timely and quality submission of proposals. As a Peace Corps Volunteer, I learned how to work with community members, school officials, and local government to develop projects in reproductive health and life skills for youth and literacy for children.

I am fluent in Spanish and have a basic proficiency in French.
Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health.
