(1) 2012 to date VILSE NPO, Pesaro (Italy) Non-profit org. currently running projects in Togo and Cameroon. Role covered (part-time): vice-president and managing partner. Drafting projects and monitoring of on-site implementation. Small projects on education, health and agricultural livelihood. Interventions consist of building/refurbishment of schools, libraries and medical centres including logistical support for daily operations and courses related to health and agriculture. Analysis of local context, consultation with community representatives, negotiation of solutions with community stakeholders. Sharing of findings to improve overall programme.
(2) 2002 to date Role covered: Independent business consultant and/or mission partner for account of UNV (United Nations Volunteers), EU and INGOs. Various short-term missions (20 to 75 days) aimed at supporting small agricultural groups/cooperatives (sometimes all-female) in their internal organization management and commercial matters in order to reach a sustainable balance sheet net profit. Teaching basic principles of bookkeeping, drafting a business plan, conducting seminars to group/cooperative members and general public focused on marketing and costs construction techniques.
