I carried out gender assessments for LEDS mitigation options and demonstration and pilot projects (forestry and carbon sequestration, sustainable and low emission livestock production, improved cook stoves for GHG mitigation) and assisted in strengthening of the Indigenous Climate Change Round table. In developing the LEDS, I was in charge of the agricultural sector, liaising with public and private sector stakeholders and technical review of the mitigation options: use of fertilizer, soil conservation, promotion of agroforestry and fruticulture as well as options in livestock, such as improved and intensified pasture management and rotation, changes in diet, improved manure management, amongst others. In addition, I was in charge of developing the project document for the NAMA Support Project to Guatemala´s Livestock NAMA.

-From 2000-2002, I worked as Environmental Adviser at the Dutch Embassy in Guatemala where I was responsible for the development, management of the budget, monitoring and evaluation of all environmental projects.
