Experience in designing and managing M&E frameworks, including indicator selection for many donors (including USAID FtF projects). Carried out research on determining appropriate proxy indicators to reduce indicator numbers for development projects. Focus on reflecting impact in terms of wellbeing and human development indicators (SDGs, HDI, etc) using different analytics such as RCT, multi-variate regression analysis. Demonstration of maintained causal plausibility and potential and rational attribution.

Ph.D. in Epidemiology UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH: Centre for Tropical Health and Veterinary Medicine ‘Assessing the burden of Neurocysticercosis: a case study of Busia District, Kenya.’ As this is a zoonotic disease, analysis involved assessing the economic burden of the disease for agricultural production and the public health costs. • Fieldwork involved primary data collection on 1500 respondents in Western Province, Kenya with 4 data collection rounds • Designed survey, data collection instruments, both qualitative and quantitative • Carried out data analysis using a multi-variate analysis, multiple imputation chained equations, Monte Carlo simulation and Bayesian statistical tools • Undertook respondent Wealth Ranking, created a Poverty Index and determined risk factors for acquisition of Neurocysticercosis and Taenia solium cysticercosis
