2011-16 Established issues management function for WWF global network with presences in more than 100 countries. Coordinated crisis response globally, assessed and drove action to mitigate risk, assisted and mediated between offices, acted as spokesperson. Standardised and resourced responses to more than 80 recurring issues. 2007-12 Provided emergency media relations services to WWF International, rebuilt news and media relations unit and functionality, significantly reduced conflict among and enhanced global communications opportunities for WWF offices, achieved improved coverage and impact generally through emphasizing news values and professionalism, hardened communications impact and focus for major campaigns. 1994-2008 Australian and international consultant - journalism, research, investigations, stakeholder consultations, report writing. 1990-1994 Special Adviser to initial chair of Queensland Criminal Justice Commission, established to reform police force and criminal justice system, counter corruption and organised crime. Responsible for major investigations, research projects, reports and stakeholder consultation processes. 1982-1990 Journalist, News Limited. 1987 awarded Australia's top journalism honor for series of articles leading to two year inquiry that saw police commissioner, ministers, developers and criminal identities jailed, Premier and others face trial and government in power for 30 years fall.
