Professional Experience:
I am a policy and engagement advisor and problem solver who thinks strategically and critically, bringing ideas and solutions to achieve outcomes in order to work towards influencing the Post-2015 development agenda.

Currently, I hold a position with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the Development Cooperation Directorate (DCD), working on strategic analysis and cross cutting issues to address key international challenges in relation to specific elements of the OECD Development Strategy and the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) mandate. My work is undertaken by supporting the leadership, coordinating and providing input to the OECD horizontal analysis, content contribution and participation to international processes, via the execution of the External Financing for Development/Redefining Official Development Assistance (ODA) project to deliver on the 2012 DAC High Level Meeting Mandate; the OECD cross directorate Post-2015 Task Team (including the publication and promotion of our “OECD and Post-2015 Reflections” series);
the annual Global Forum on Development; the OECD mission to the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and the European Commission’s European Development Days as well as the 2014 IMF/World Bank Group Spring Meetings and the 2014 ECOSOC Ministerial mission. I also work directly with a range of stakeholders including the UN system, International Development Banks, Governments, CSOs and closely follow and engage with the various international processes taking place.

My career has seen me work in roles that require strong coordination and project management, people mobilisation, drafting, analytical, outreach, engagement and negotiation skills. These roles have also required the ability to identify, establish and foster relationships while making sure that knowledge and complex information is acquired, synthesized and incorporated or distributed quickly via clear channels of communication, to enable people to work together within high pressure and sensitive environments whilst demonstrating political acumen.

My skills have been developed at the OECD within the DCD and the Office of the Deputy Secretary General, the UN Office of the Resident Coordinator/Deputy Special Representative to the Secretary General in Timor-Leste, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris and in urban affairs and planning in both the public and private sectors in Australia.
